Protocol with the Egyptian Federation 2025

The Arab Academy hosts the Republic Championship for Handball Buds in cooperation with the Egyptian Federation

In an important step to promote Egyptian sports and discover young talents, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport signed a joint cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Handball Federation. This strategic partnership aims to reorganize and host the 2025 Republic Junior Handball Championship at the Academy's main branch in Alexandria, from August 30 to September 7, 2025.
This agreement comes based on the Egyptian Handball Federation's desire to benefit from the advanced capabilities provided by the academy, which is committed to supporting Egyptian and Arab sports and providing an ideal environment for athletes. Under this protocol, the Academy will be the official sponsor of the tournament on all promotional materials, and will host the participating sports teams and their technical and administrative staff for ten days, which is the duration of the tournament.
The protocol was signed by Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and Captain Khaled Fathi, President of the Egyptian Handball Federation.

• Counselor Ahmed Mahfouz, Legal Advisor to the Union.
- From the academy side:
• Dr. Mohamed Saad, Director of Sports Marketing and External Relations.
• Engineer Ajnatin Khalil, Head of the International Programs Unit.
• Dr. Ahmed Ghazal, Director of the Creative Center for Media and Marketing.
• Dr. Angie Shaker, Head of the Digital Media Department.
Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar stressed the Academy's interest in sports as an essential element in building generations, stressing that this partnership reflects the Academy's continued commitment to supporting young people. For his part, Captain Khaled Fathi expressed his great appreciation for the academy's capabilities, stressing that this tournament represents a real opportunity to discover promising handball talents from various governorates of the Republic, which contributes to preparing a bright future for the game in Egypt.
