The Alexandria Open Triathlon Championship

Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, the President of the Academy, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mageed Khalaf, the Director of Sports Departments, the Academy hosted the first round of the Alexandria Open Triathlon Championship for the sports season 2023-2024.

The Alexandria Open Triathlon Championship included races in Aquathlon and Duathlon and took place on Friday, November 24, 2023, at the fields of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, the main branch in Abu Qir, Alexandria.

Tournament Conditions:

1. The player must have previously obtained a player registration card from the Egyptian Triathlon Federation for the sports season (2023-2024) and submit the required documents.
2. Submission of a certified and stamped list from the participating entities in the championship, provided by the Joint Committee, with approval from the hospital doctor.
3. Each participating entity in the championship must have a representative.
4. The Board of Directors or the Competition Committee may make adjustments to the championship's dates, timings, and race program.
5. Certificates will be awarded to all participants in the championship.
6. Medals will be awarded to the top three positions if the stage is completed for more than three entities.
7. The results will be announced after the entry of the last participant in the race.
8. The International Federation's rules with the latest announced amendments will be applied.
9. A team from Alexandria will be selected based on the championship results.
