Therefore, the administration has made various available possibilities in consolidating the relationship between all sects of society, whether civil or military, from the implementation of various activities that have made the Academy a distinguished and different sports edifice at the local and international level.
The new season of sports activity within Egyptian universities and institutes has begun with the launch of the 50th edition of the martyr Rifai course, which is being held under the auspices of Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of youth and sports, and Mohammed Ayman Ashour, Minister of higher education and scientific research and president of the Egyptian sports federation for universities.
It is noteworthy that the tournament is being held under the supervision of Sobhi Hassanin, vice-president of the Egyptian sports federation for universities, Arafa Salama, secretary general of the Federation, Baha Mokhtar, head of the Championship and competition sector at the federation, and Mohammed Ramadan, the supervisor of the tournament from the Egyptian sports federation for universities.
Egyptian universities seek to support the formation of the personality of their students through active participation in student activities, including sports activities, through which they were able to produce champions like Egypt abroad with the support of the Sports Federation of universities.
An official source at the Ministry of higher education and scientific research confirmed the ministry's interest in supporting student activities, as well as considering it a key pillar of building the personality of students, pointing out the importance of developing the current vision of the Egyptian sports federation for universities, as this comes in line with the national strategy for higher education.
He pointed out that Dr. Ayman Ashour, the minister of higher education and scientific research, has directed to intensify the efforts of the sports federation, during the new academic year 2023/2024, by organizing sports activities and conducting summer sessions, in cooperation with universities.
He explained that the energies of young people are being exploited and provided with various experiences and skills in order to present champions who raise the name of Egypt High in all fields and local, regional and international competitions.
While Dr. Sobhi Hassanin, president of the Universities Sports Federation, said that the federation has set dates for a number of individual games tournaments in the 51st sports cycle of Egyptian universities and institutes for the academic year 2023/2024 .
Swimming with fins
The competitions of the championship of Egyptian universities and higher institutes for fin swimming (male and female students), under the auspices of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of youth and sports, and Dr. Mohamed Osman elkhosht, president of Cairo University, concluded the fin swimming championship organized by the Sports Federation of universities in cooperation with Cairo University, during the period from 19 - November 20, 2023 at Cairo University, with the participation of 251 students from 28 public, private, private and technological universities, 56 supervisors, coaches and 23 referees from the Egyptian diving and rescue Federation to arbitrate the Championship, and in the presence of a number of board members of the Sports Federation of universities, the Department of sports activity at Cairo University, and the Egyptian diving and rescue Federation.
The final results of the tournament were as follows:

2 gold medals in the 100m fin /200m FIN Race
2-the student / King Sharif Saeed enrolled in the Faculty of engineering

The students of the Arab Academy for science and technology dominated the results of the floor tennis tournament for universities and higher institutes in the 51st martyr Rifai tournament, which was held on the playgrounds of Cairo University under the auspices of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of higher education and scientific research and president of the Egyptian sports federation for universities, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of youth and sports.
