What degree programs does CLC offer in Alexandria?

  • BA in Language & Translation, paired with a minor in Communication.

Are CLC’s programs accredited?

Yes, CLC’s programs are accredited by:

  • The Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities (Media and Language & Translation departments).
  • Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, which grants graduating students a joint certificate from both institutions.

How can I apply for admission?

Applications are submitted online through the AAST admissions portal or directly at the Alexandria headquarters. You will need to complete the application form, upload documents, and pay the application fee.

What documents are required for admission?

  • High school certificate (original + copy)
  • Birth certificate
  • Copy of national ID or passport
  • 6 recent passport-size photos
  • Military service form (for Egyptian male students)
  • Proof of English proficiency (if required)

Are there admission exams or interviews?

Students sit for an English placement test to determine language level.

How many years of study are required to complete a degree at the College of Language & Communication (CLC)?


Students at the College of Language & Communication can complete their bachelor’s degree in as little as 3 academic years through the accelerated study plan. The standard duration is 4 years (8 semesters) of full-time study. In some cases, students may extend their studies if they take lighter course loads or join exchange/study abroad programs.

How are students assessed at the College of Language & Communication?

CLC uses a variety of assessment methods to evaluate both knowledge and practical skills. Students are assessed through:
