The course aims at enhancing the learners’ interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with others. By equipping learners with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to communicate clearly, effectively and respectfully in different settings, learners identify and develop ways to overcome barriers of communication. During the course, learners have their active speaking and listening skills enhanced to execute effective oral arguments after utilizing the principles of effective listening as both speaker and audience. Through twenty-four hours of practical input, learners receive global feedback on assignments in class and in individual meetings with their instructors and also from their peers to improve oral communication.
