This highly communicative course is designed for lecturers and teachers, post-graduate and under-graduate students and public speakers. It aims at strengthening all aspects of speaking ability, especially in academic contexts. Learners will receive practical input enhancing speaking, listening, and interpersonal skills necessary to be effective communicators in academic settings and in the workplace. With a focus on presentations, discussions and debates, learners receive feedback on assignments in class and in individual meetings with the instructor. The course provides learners with knowledge of fundamentals of academic speaking and provides them with the necessary tools to express themselves effectively.
