The College of Language and Communication offers its students training opportunities at “Al-Masry Al-Youm” newspaper. Students learn different types of news writing such as reports, stories, investigation, profile, feature and opinion writing such as articles, columns, and caricatures. They also learn journalistic reporting skills in several areas. In addition, the training focuses on the basic skills of photography and journalistic production of newspapers and magazines. Throughout the training, students write different types of articles that are corrected and edited by experts in the field of journalism, which later on can be used as work samples when students are applying for jobs after graduation.
