Intellectual Skills On completion of this course, students will be able to: 2.1 Describe multifaceted identity approaches. 2.2 Illustrate characteristics of verbal communication across cultures. 2.3 Distinguish between the different cultures and nations. 2.4 Express emotions and expressions across cultures. 2.5 Give examples of various nonverbal cues across cultures. 2.6 Explain the strengths and weaknesses of ethnocentrism. 3. Professional and Practical skills On completion of this course, students will be able to: 3.1 Consider the composition and significance of your cultural identities. 3.1 Produce different and new ideas of communication across cultures. 3.2 Practise appropriate methods of communication across cultures. 3.3 Apply the basic rules of communication across cultures. 3.4 Illustrate on the fundamental methods for linking aging and communication. 3.5 Solve problems in intercultural communication in the world of business, health care, and media. 4. Objectives

  • This course is designed to provide learners with an understanding of the importance of communication between different cultures as a means to develop and face challenges such as misunderstanding and stereotypes that eventually lead to conflicts.
