Objectives

  • This course aims at developing students’ musical perception, understanding, and appreciation. It also introduces students to the study of music, including a variety of musical styles and genres, spanning over different historical periods until the present. Through attentive listening and critical thinking, students will develop the ability to analyze various musical forms and communicate effectively about the role of music in human societies.
