Under the supervision of the Social and Cultural Department, some students (Grade 7 of the British program AASTMT-IEP) were invited to participate in the entertaining competition ROBO PIRATES on 1/6/2023

Under the supervision of Social and Cultural Department,some students from (Grade 7 British Programme AASTMT-IEP) were invited to participate in the recreational competition ROBO PIRATES  on Thursday 1st of June, 2023.
The Marine and Offshore Engineering Department at AASTMT has initiated the competition and provided the students with the entertainment and scientific rivalry by joining the seven accredited teams to participate in the competition.
Our students had the opportunity to learn from this scientific experience  while being greatly entertained.

The Department of Cultural and Social Activity at the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the students of the IMAREST family and the students of the SNAME family, in the Department of Marine Engineering and Platforms, at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, headed by Dr. Ahmed Samir Shehata, organized the preparation and organization of the first competition of its kind in the academy, ROBO PIRATES COMPETITION, on 1/6/2023

And a new culture... something that always calls for pride and the acquisition of many skills and teamwork under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Support provided by the Academy, and this is achieved as a result of the continued support of the Deanship of Student Affairs for the scientific activities of our sons and daughters, students of the Academy, under the directives of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud Abu Al-Azm - Dean of Student Affairs at the main headquarters of the Academy and Dr. Ahmed Khalifa Muhanna - Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at the main headquarters of the Academy. The Deanship of Student Affairs strives In supporting and developing the capabilities and skills of our students through scientific, material and logistical support and following up on the needs of our students through permanent cooperation with all the academic faculties at the main headquarters and within the framework of cooperation with the College of Engineering and Technology at the Deanship of Prof. Dr. / Akram Suleiman Al-Salami - Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology, the Department of Cultural Activity and Social Studies at the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the students of the IMAREST family and the students of the SNAME family, in the Department of Marine Engineering and Platforms, at the College of Engineering and Technology, headed by Dr. Ali designed and built miniature floating units that aim to confront opponents. The students of the department involved a number of students from other departments at the College of Engineering and Technology in the competition.. The competition activities were held on the swimming pool of the Institute of Maritime Safety, which calls for more pride in our ancient academy, which is Maritime Transport Science and Technology Corporation in the Middle East, because of its capabilities. The activities of the competition were implemented on Thursday, 6/1/2023, and 7 teams, comprising 120 students from different departments of the College of Engineering and Technology, participated in it. A number of students from the International School of the Academy participated in the distinguished participation.... A number of companies and industrialists working in the field were hosted as sponsors, as well as participating in the evaluation and arbitration of the competition.

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport - Port Said branch hosted the Sixth International Informatics Olympiad for teams on May 30, 2023

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport - Port Said branch hosted the sixth International Informatics Olympiad for teams from May 30, 2023 under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. This year, 6 countries participated in the international finals, namely Italy, Romania, Hungary, Peru, Syria and Egypt. All the best to our children in the competition. The Department of Cultural and Social Activity in Abu Qir organized a symposium and training entitled Supporting Women and How to Deal with Physical Abuse and Harassment, in cooperation with the National Council for Women and Motman Foundation, one of the social work institutions 4/12/20222

Under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the Deanship of Student Affairs at the main headquarters organized a seminar and training entitled Supporting Women and How to Deal with Physical Abuse and Harassment, in cooperation with the National Council for Women and the Foundation. Motman is one of the social work institutions. The symposium was held on Sunday, December 4, 2022, in Al-Farsi Hall, at the academy’s headquarters in Abu Qir. The symposium discussed a number of issues that women are exposed to, such as bullying, harassment, and physical and psychological abuse, and how to deal with embarrassing situations to reduce the psychological impact as much as possible. The symposium received a great turnout from Faculty members, employees and students of the Academy, whether from the main headquarters in Abu Qir and the Miami branch, in addition to the presence of a number of students from international programs due to the spread of this phenomenon in society and the need for awareness and guidance to confront it from the state, civil society institutions and individuals alike.

The second Arab-African camp “Towards a green future” at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology on 27/9/2022

The activities of the camp were inaugurated by Professor Mai Al-Shari, Advisor to the Minister of Social Solidarity for Environmental Media, Dr. Muhammad Abu Al-Azm, Dean of Student Affairs at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and Mr. Hatem Al-Rubi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Voluntary Work Ambassadors Foundation for Sustainable Development, and under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President The Arab Academy for Science and Technology, and the camp included a number of educational workshops that included a presentation by the youth of the Voluntary Work Ambassadors Foundation on introducing the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Climate Agreement, its dimensions and objectives, and then a workshop on climate change from a societal perspective from the reality of corporate social responsibility and development The sustainable community was presented by Dr. Mahmoud Fawzy Rashid Ahmed - Instructor at the Faculty of Media and Communication Technology - Misr University for Science and Technology. The Jabal Initiative also introduced the importance of the five natural elements and the most important natural reserves in Egypt, and introduced eco-tourism and how to enjoy wild places and preserve the environment.
Ms. Mai Al-Shafei also raised the dialogue on the importance of training young people, raising awareness, and providing accurate data and information on climate and environmental issues so that we create a new, conscious and enlightened generation that can dialogue and present distinguished ideas and initiatives during the current period and beyond cOP27.
