The Naval Academy of Science and Technology organized the U-17 World Youth Championship in Qir, Alexandria, under the auspices of Prof. Dr./ President of the Academy and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, from 12 to 16 July 2023.

Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar expressed his happiness with the constant cooperation between the Academy and the Pentagram Union, as the Academy in Alexandria hosted many championships, the latest of which was the World Championship for Adults, which received international acclaim.
For his part, Engineer Sherif El-Erian stressed that the Academy is a key partner in the success of hosting the International Pentathlon Federation for world championships, explaining that the World Championship for adults, which was held at the Academy’s stadiums in Alexandria, won the award for the best promotional tournament for the year 2022 from the International Federation of Modern Pentathlon.
The Modern Pentathlon World Cup is currently being held from March 7-12 at the American University in Cairo.
More than 150 modern pentathlon athletes from 35 countries are participating in the tournament, to participate in the inaugural tournament of the World Cup series, which is the beginning of arriving in Ankara, Turkey, in early June, where the final of the World Cup series for the current year, and then to the final destination next year, which is the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The importance of the championship lies in the points that the champions will collect during that series and until the summer of 2024 on the road to the dream of competing in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

His Excellency the Prof. Dr. President of the Academy honored the student/ Mohamed Ibrahim Kesho, who is enrolled in the Faculty of International Transport and Logistics, for winning the gold medal in the African Wrestling Championship in Tunisia 2023 on: 28/5/2023.
His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel-Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, met the student/ Mohamed Ibrahim Kesho, who is enrolled in the Faculty of International Transport and Logistics at the main headquarters, Babi Qir, where he extended his sincere congratulations after winning the gold medal in the African Wrestling Championship in Tunisia 2023

His Excellency Prof. Dr. / President of the Academy extends his sincere congratulations to the Egyptian Rollball Association and to his academic son, the student Nour Ahmed Mohamed, who is enrolled in the College of Management and Technology in Miami, on the occasion of crowning the women’s national team with the silver medal and obtaining second place in the World Championship held in the Indian state 2023, wishing them more success Tournaments and raise the name of Egypt in all international forums

The start of the first day of the World Modern Pentathlon Championship at the Academy 23/7/2022

Today, Sunday morning, the World Modern Pentathlon Championship for adults started at the stadiums of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria from 24 to 31 July. At ten thirty in the morning, followed by the beginning of the equestrian competition, at four thirty in the evening, then the additional points system for the weapon at five and a quarter, and the swimming competitions begin at 5:45 pm, then the laser competitions - rang at six and a quarter, and finally the awarding of prizes at 6:45 43 countries have confirmed their participation in the tournament as follows: Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Canada, Chile, China, Taiwan, Colombia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Britain, Guatemala, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Mali, Mexico, Moldova, Peru, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, America, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Croatia, Denmark, Portugal, Serbia and Egypt The host country. The Egyptian team will participate in the tournament with 11 players, 6 males and 5 females. The men's list includes "Islam Hamed, Ahmed Hamed, Ahmed Al-Jundi, Muhannad Shaaban, Muhammad Al-Jundi and Moataz Wael", while the names of the women's team included "Heidi Morsi, Salma Abdel-Maqsoud, Amira Qandil, Malak Ismail and Zina Amer.”
