Description
This course deals with the characteristics and use of drugs intended for the treatment of bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, upper and lower respiratory tract infections, and drug-induced respiratory problems. In addition to neurological disorders including (epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, ..etc). The mechanism of action of different agents commonly used for the aforementioned disorders is provided. Interactive approaches are used to familiarize the students with background information underlying the expected side effects and the interactions between these agents and other drugs, foods, or disease conditions.
