Description

This course is designed to provide students with the essential therapeutic knowledge, principles and concepts needed for providing pharmaceutical care to patients suffering from infectious diseases. Emphasis will be placed on integrating epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, treatment options & guidelines, disease state management including the rationale of drug therapy selection, as well as addressing drug therapy related problems.

Recognize the appropriate resources of information to guide therapy of the above-mentioned disorders. a.3. Define the goals of therapy for the above-mentioned disorders. b.4. Identify potential drug therapy related problems. b. Intellectual Skills b.1. Interpret and analyze data pertinent to laboratory results and medical history b.2.
