The International Olympiad in Informatics is held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, in addition to the support of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States. This cooperation reflects the importance of the championship in enhancing technological education and promoting programming skills among Arab youth. The championship provides a platform for students from different countries to exchange knowledge and compete at a high level in solving programming problems, which contributes to developing their capabilities and enhancing innovation. This event also strengthens cultural ties and cooperation between Arab countries and other participating countries, which contributes to building a generation of innovators in the field of technology.
The mission of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in organizing the International Information Olympiad is to promote innovation, develop programming and problem-solving skills among students, and encourage them to excel and achieve accomplishments in the fields of technology and information.
