On Sunday, March 13, 2022, Prof. Dr. Evan Saad, Dean of the College, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Professor of Pharmaceutics, welcomed Dr. Onsi El Shafei, head of Alexandria Pharmacists’ Syndicate to the campus.
Dr. Onsi gave a professional lecture on the important role of the pharmacist in society and the healthcare system which was attended by the sixth-semester students who are preparing to start their first summer training in summer 2022.
The guest also elaborated the different work fields available for pharmacists upon graduation, their diversity, and the importance of each. The lecture attracted great interest and participation from college students, faculty members and the supporting staff who participated in the symposium.
By the end of the lecture, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hussein, the advisor to the president of the academy for El Alamein branch, presented the shield of the academy to Dr Onsi as a symbolic gift. Finally, some commemorative pictures were taken with the students and faculty members on this occasion.
