Cultural awareness is an important feature at AAST and is supported in the academic curriculum and beyond, by provision of a wide variety of activities those identify, engage, and nurture talent. Student Affairs at the Maritime Transport campus supports students’ activities designed to help them develop their general knowledge, interpersonal skills, and competitiveness. Our students are encouraged to explore their creative talents. The arts provide valuable opportunities for enlightenment into various cultures at different periods of time. By encouraging students to involve themselves in the performing arts, we hope not only to improve their performance skills but also develop their self-confidence as well as their sense of enjoyment and fun.
