Welcome! Thank you for visiting the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering (E.C.E) at the college of Engineering and Technology, Arab Academy for Science Technology and Maritime Transport. .
The E.C.E came into existence, after the establishment of AAST, in 1987. It is one of the largest departments in the Academy with an average number of students being approximately 650.
The department provides an Undergraduate Program Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication and a Graduate Program which offers Master Of Science In Electronics and Communications Engineering .
The department has about 50 full-time faculty members in 4 specialized Areas Of Research which are Communications, Electronics, Electronic Measurements , and Antenna Engineering. Additionally, a pool of experienced engineers and technicians maintain more than 7 laboratories in the department. We are delighted at this recognition, and with dedicated expert staff and talented, enthusiastic and diverse students we are determined to do better still.
