Overall Course Objectives
On Completion of the course, students should satisfactory understand the legal & technical principles of pilotage operations and Study the International conventions relating to the prevention of pollution at sea and the preservation of the marine environment

• Understand the Legal Aspects of Marine Accidents and Marine Losses.
• Realize the Code of the International Standards and Recommended Practices for a Safety Investigation into a Marine Casualty or Marine Incident.
• Familiarity of the types of International conventions relating to the prevention of pollution at sea and the preservation of the marine environment.
