Advanced Air Conditioning systems

  • Mechanical Engineering |

Description

This course is designed to study advanced heating, ventilation, and air conditioningrn(HVAC) systems is details. Students will review the various components of the differentrntypes of A/C systems and how to design and control each component. Students will alsornlearn how the electronic HVAC system works and how to diagnose and repair thernelectronic and multiplex HVAC system.

Program

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering

Objectives

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the need and importance of HVAC technology, rnthe typical and some advanced and innovative schematic design.rnï‚· Develop generalized psychrometrics of moist air and apply to HVAC processes.rnï‚· Demonstrate an understanding of fluid mechanics in building air or coolantrndistribution systems and in room air distribution and its application to efficient pipingrnand duct systems and effective room air distribution systems and associated flowrnmachines and control systems.
