Description

This course addresses the challenging game design problem. Students learn to capture what players want and what do they expect using game conceptualization and formal modeling techniques. Students also learn the design of game-play interactions, focus, mechanics and controls. Various story telling techniques for games are discussed. Students gain hands on experience with different stages of development to produce simple, meaningfully playable games.

    2. Use an existing game framework to produce a simple game.
    3. Formally describe game concepts.

    6. Construct clear documentation for a game.
    7. Discuss various story telling techniques.
