College of Computing and Information Technology2016-2017The present Graduate Studies Rules and Regulations show details of the master''s and diploma programs of computer science and information systems as well as the inter-departmental diplomas in accordance with the executive rules in the Graduate Studies Bylaws of the Supreme Council for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport along with the regulations followed in graduate studies programs offered by leading international universities.The present Graduate Studies Rules and Regulations aim to achieve and strengthen the vision and mission of the College of Computing and Information Technology for the graduate studies programs via developing research and scientific thinking capabilities in addition to building up the ability to innovate and develop in the fields of computer science and information systems in line with the research plan of the college. That is being achieved using modern scientific techniques and methodologies through studying advanced academic courses and conducting academic research by applying an integrated scientific plan.Also, the present Graduate Rules and Regulations include details of lists of offered courses considering the applied credit hours system along with the rules for admission, registration, studying, examinations, as well as details of requirements for obtaining degrees in the offered programs of computer science and information systems.
