The Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) is a fully accredited member of both the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) and the International Association of Universities (IAU).

AASTMT was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certificate for its educational processes in September 1999, after following formal quality assurance procedures to maintain the educational quality level received by students, which was last renewed in 2021.

The undergraduate programs offered by the College of Computing and Information Technology, Cairo Campus, are accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities (SCU). As well as Postgraduate programs offered by the College are accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities (SCU).

The Computer Science (CS) and Information Systems (IS) programs are accredited by the ABET- Computing Accreditaion Commision (CAC). The Software Engineering (SE) program is also accredited by the ABET- Engineering Accrediation Commision (EAC).
