Description

This course presents an overview of recent protection schemes and methods. The course should cover the protection of distribution system with different types of distributed generation. Also it gives an overview of numerical relays. The course will discuss robust protection systems integrated with modern automation, communication and information systems. An overview of the integration of protection and control in digital substation will be presented. Techniques of Simulation of protective relay for complex protection schemes will be studied.
