Electrical Installations

  • Electrical & Control Engineering |

Description

This course provides students with the knowledge and practical skills required for the design and implementation of electrical distribution and low current systems in buildings and industrial facilities. It covers the project life cycle, distribution board design, and cable management systems such as cable trays. Topics include standby generation units and UPS, bus bar sizing, and earthing design and components. The course also addresses the design of light current systems, including building automation, fire alarm and access control, CCTV, and MATV systems. Students will gain experience in using specialized software for designing electrical distribution systems and branch circuits. A comprehensive project is included to integrate theoretical concepts with practical design applications.
