Computer Applications in Electrical Engineering

  • Electrical & Control Engineering |

Description

This course equips students with advanced computational tools for power system analysis and control using MATLAB and artificial intelligence techniques. It covers MATLAB programming concepts including loops, functions, and symbolic processing, along with an introduction to Simulink and model creation for system simulations. Students will explore applications such as power system matrix formation, fault analysis, and stability calculations. The course further introduces artificial intelligence methods, with a focus on Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), their types, models, and practical applications in power systems. Emphasis is placed on bridging traditional computational techniques with modern AI-based solutions for enhanced system performance and reliability.
