Selection of Engineering Materials

  • Industrial & Management Engineering |

Description

The course helps students develop problem-solving abilities for materials evaluation and selection, materials processes selection, failure analysis, and materials testing. The course includes the study of the basis for material selection in the design of engineering systems; materials design parameters, and classes of materials. A set of case studies in materials selections are given throughout the course to develop the materials selection knowledge and skills of the students.

Program
