This course discuses the issue of environmentally conscious design. It consists of four main parts:(1) the philosophy of environmental design(2) the Physical Environmental including Geology, Geomorphology, Energy Resources and Climate, and their influence on building and site design(3) the natural environment including Soils, Materials, Energy and Ecology and,(4) the Principles of Strategic Environmental Assessment.
