The Mechanical Engineering Department offers an engineering science program and applied mechanical energy courses integrated with laboratory experience in measurements, and studies in design and manufacturing using computer facilities and laboratories. Through the curriculum, our department strives to prepare our undergraduate students for careers in traditional Mechanical Engineering fields as well as careers in cross-disciplined areas in research, academia and industry.
The Mechanical Engineering Department provides a Graduate Program which offers either a Diploma or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. We also pride ourselves on our research. Our faculty’s research expertise includes Thermal and Fluid Sciences, Materials and Manufacturing, Mechanics, Automotive, Mechatronics and Systems and Controls.
