Program Educational Objectives for Information Systems

The graduates of the Information Systems program at CCIT, within five years of graduation, are expected to:

  1. (PEO1) Succeed in their career in Information Systems through their contributions to an organization, society and economic development.
  2. (PEO2) Advance their technical skills by adopting emerging IS methodologies and technologies and/or pursuing graduate studies.
  3. (PEO3) Further develop their communication, teamwork, and time management skills, and demonstrate their aptitude to work in accordance with ethical, legal, and societal considerations.

The program educational objectives (PEOs) support the missions of both the institution and college.

They are publicly available; in various display cases in college’s buildings, in the undergraduate printed catalogue, and also online at:

The review of the PEOs is launched every year. The primary goal is to periodically ensure that the PEOs are based on the needs of the program's various constituencies and are aligned by the institution mission. The constituencies of the program are faculty, Industry representatives, alumni, and students.
