This course covers the principles of electrical installation on-board ships through prefect understanding of Determination of loads & Load Characteristics and studying the factors affecting selection of circuit arrangements using electrical Codes and Standards.rnThe course enables the students to understand various types of loads needed on-board ships which are: Lighting systems, Heating and Air-conditioning, Lifts and escalators, Electrical safety: Fire alarm systems –- Electrical & electronic systems operating in Flammable Areas and UPS Standby power systems. It also covers studying Galley equipment and Laundry equipmentrn
