This course provides graduate students with an opportunity to gain advancedrnknowledge of the application of geographical information systems (GIS) onrnenvironmental problems with particular reference to planning and resourcernmanagement. Students will become familiar with the strengths and limitations of thisrnrapidly developing approach to the analysis of spatial data.
