Program Educational Objectives

The main aim of the construction and building engineering program is to prepare individuals for a professional career in construction and building engineering by providing graduates with the technical skills, personal skills and knowledge in construction and building engineering. The main objective of the program is to produce and qualify graduates of the construction and building engineering department to:

  1. Be successfully employed in construction engineering field whether nationally or globally.
  2. Utilize underpinning mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals to analyze and solve complex construction problems with proficiency by using modern tools and techniques.
  3. Acquire and utilize personal, communication and leadership skills and be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Be able to expand their knowledge and capabilities through continuing education or other lifelong learning experiences to adopt themselves in construction Engineering domain.
  5. Understand and commit to the global, ethical, environmental and professional responsibilities for sustainable development of society and nation.
