Raghda Bahaa El‐Din Taha is a recent member of the family of College of International Transport and Logistics. She is Senior Teaching Assistant at the Supply Chain Management department.

Raghda is working on her Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management at the Design Production Engineering Dept., Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University.

In her M.Sc. she considered the industrial problem of balancing the assembly lines under different constraints. She published several papers in this area. In 2012, She was awarded the Emerging Economies Doctoral Student Award (EEDSA) by the Production Operations Management Society (POMS) in USA to the Ph.D. student who demonstrates the greatest promise in an Operations Management related field.

Her current research includes working as an associate coordinator of a 2 million Euros TEMPUS project funded from the European Commission jointly with 4 local universities and 5 international universities.

She is one of the founders and a board member of the Industrial and Logistics Operations Management Society (ILOMS) and works as the general secretary of this society. In addition, She is a member of the editorial board of Ain Shams Engineering Journal (ASEJ) published by ELSEVIER.
