Energy and Petroleum Logistics Management Department in Alexandria "Ambassador for Sustainable Development" by 100%

The First Department at AASTMT
Under the patronage of Prof. Sara El-Gazzar, Dean of the College of International Transport and Logistics, the free training courses offered by the "Engineers for a Sustainable Egypt" initiative have been completed in cooperation with the Department of Energy and Petroleum Logistics Management headed by Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Qader.
AASTMT headquarter in Alexandria - the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport Over the course of five days, a group of trainers accredited by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and those in charge of the "Be an Ambassador" initiative presented the basic concepts of sustainable development to increase awareness of the concept of sustainable development and the implementation of its goals.
The course also targeted training and qualifying all faculty members of the Department of Energy and Petroleum Logistics Management in Alexandria as accredited trainees in the field of sustainable development, within the framework of cooperation between the initiative and the department in line with the strategic direction of the Academy and the College of International Transport and Logistics to define and implement sustainable development goals to achieve the Egyptian state’s vision 2030. The Training covered the following topics:
(Defining sustainable development and its objectives - sustainable financing - digital transformation - governance and its impact on achieving sustainable development goals - optimal use of water - sustainable cities - sustainable transport and its relationship to climate action - waste recycling - effective communication skills).
