The major of Logistics of International Trade Management (LITM) is a program of study concerned with the international flow of materials, goods, services, and information within organizations across national/global boundaries as well as the management of day-to-day operations within organizations. Logistics activities are considered vital for enhancing organizational performance and effectiveness as well as customer satisfaction levels on a global scale. Moreover, LITM provides students with theoretical and practical educational experience in the areas of freight management, customs clearance, digital transformation, international trade, logistics operations and management, inter-organizational relationship management, supply chain finance, and business logistics modelling as well as preparing students to be capable of assessing their own businesses through feasibility study, international marketing, and international finance from global logistics perspectives.
A degree in Logistics of International Trade provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to manage the complex process involved in the global supply chain, and to navigate the legal, regulatory, financial, and cultural challenges of cross-border trade. Graduates of such programs may go on to work in a variety of industries, including logistics, transportation, manufacturing, and consulting.
