operational performance Indicators in sea ports of Sudan

Purpose

Since "what cannot be measured cannot be developed", there was a great motivation to focus on performance management where measuring performance is considered the first step in developing any system.
The workshop aims at measuring operational performance in sea ports of Sudan through BSC (Balanced Score Cards) which is considered a performance measurement and evaluation tool for corporations in regard to their strategies. This tool is balancing between 4 perspectives (financial, customers, internal process and innovation and learning perspective), those are reflecting the balance between sort term and long term goals, and also between financial and non-financial standards and the balance between internal and external performance factors.
