Description
The course provides an understanding of carbon capture, utilization and storage through the entire supply chain, a large-scale decarburization technology of the energy and industrial sector, from a multidisciplinary approach.
Program
M.Sc. in Electrical Smart Grid Engineering
Objectives
- The student will be able to:
▪ Describe the main sources of greenhouse gas emissions and their impact on climate change.
▪ Identify, describe and explain principles and applications of CO2 capture and separation technologies, and technologies used for CO2 conditioning and CO2 transport.
▪ Design methods to decrease the carbon footprint of electricity generation.
▪ Integrate technology, economics, sustainability, environmental impact, regulatory framework and public acceptance in a full-chain project.
