Objectives

  • The student will be able to: ▪ Understand the vehicle to grid (V2G) concept, framework and ancillary services such as: active power support, reactive power compensation, emergency backup power, support for renewable energy resources, etc. ▪ Solve V2G optimization problem considering grid constraints/limitations. ▪ Design the power flow control and energy management in smart distribution systems with V2G integrated microgrids.
