Description

Managerial and financial accounting applications of manual and computers budgeting, financial planning and analysis, and accounting information processing systems. Emphasis on development of systems for micro and mainframe computers using high level applications development software and on associating internal control and auditing problems.

  • The purpose of this course is to help in preparing the students for a career in the accounting professions. To be successful in pursuing an accounting career, students must posses a basic knowledge of computer-based information systems and their role in performing the accounting in contemporary business organization.
