Vision

IMUS seeks to be a leading pioneer in the field of maritime education and training by providing specialized and qualifying marine programs. Those programs are very much observed to keep up with the latest developments and continuous technological progress, through well-trained and qualified cadres, to contribute to the upgrading of the maritime industry.

Mission

IMUS qualifies and trains marine officers and engineers to obtain specialized marine Certificates of Competency (CoCs). Those CoCs qualify them to work onboard ships and at various marine sectors in accordance with the Egyptian Ministerial Resolution and the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). CoCs conform to international conventions on Standards for Qualification, Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW 78) as amended, under the full supervision of a group of professional instructors of the highest level of competence, qualification and experience in crucial marine fields. IMUS also provides approximately 55 specialized courses for qualifying officers and engineers to ensure the efficiency of all those engaged in the maritime field onboard ships as well as sea ports.
