In order to guarantee that the Maritime Transport Sector in the Arab and African Countries is steadily aware of the IMO Conventions and the decisions taken during its meetings, the IMO compound publishes technical support circulars and newsletters.
These publications include a follow-up summary and conclusion of the conventions, resolutions and codes regarding Marine Safety and Security, Pollution Prevention affairs.
Moreover, brief summaries of MSC Circulars, and other Circulars related to all ships are included, besides any additional requirements concerning specialized ships.
Finally, circulars about documents and certificates required to be carried on board ships are also distributed.
Moreover, we hold conferences, workshops, and training sessions for the promotion of maritime transport industry in the Arab Nations and Middle East region.
