The IMO compound of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport introduces a bundle of: - Capacity Building Programs (CBPs) and - STCW courses for: - operation and management levels of seafarers - maritime administration and shipping companies’ personnel. We have the honor to experience assistance to some maritime administrations, flag state and port state control authorities in the many fields including independent evaluation. The CBPs and training courses come under a new technical service that was recently established in the IMO Compound of the Arab Academy, AASTMT, in Sept. 2017, to serve the League of Arab States members, shipping companies, maritime administrations and port authorities Africa and Middle east region, inter alia. The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport represents the League of Arab States, as one of the Intergovernmental Organization in the IMO meeting. As we have accessibility to IMO meetings and publications, we are delighted to share the knowledge and information about the latest updates of IMO conventions and codes in addition to deliver CBPs.
