The Power of Engineering Mentors Seminar Event

Sharing experiences between experienced engineers and students is crucial as it encourages, guides, and provides them with necessary advice and guidance for success in their professional paths. Therefore, the role of engineering mentors significantly contributes to directing students towards setting and achieving their professional and personal goals clearly and wisely, leading to excellence and success.

In this context, the Electrical and Control Engineering Department, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Walid Ahmed Maher Ghanim at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the main headquarters, organized a scientific seminar entitled:

"The Power of Engineering Mentors"

This seminar took place on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 2:15 PM to 3:30 PM at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the main headquarters in Abu Qir. The seminar was delivered by Engineer Mahmoud Hegazy, CEO of Data Electric for Electricity and Power Systems, who is also a graduate of the Electrical and Control Engineering Department, class of 2007. The seminar fostered an atmosphere of camaraderie and knowledge exchange, as Engineer Mahmoud shared his experience as an entrepreneur and the obstacles he faced from his graduation until now. The lecture was attended by a large number of male and female students from the Electrical and Control Engineering Department, as well as faculty members.

The Electrical and Control Engineering Department extends sincere thanks and appreciation to Engineer Mahmoud Hegazy for his efforts in delivering this engaging lecture, which left a positive impact on all attendees. They look forward to further collaboration with him and his company to enhance the level of graduates from the department.
