MSc Smart Environmental Management of Climate Change (SECCM)

Program Description

The program aims to: Provide advanced postgraduate education in climate-change and environmental-management fields. Develop specialists able to address climate-related environmental challenges. Strengthen applied research in climate change, marine resources, environmental risk, modelling, GIS, and remote sensing. Support national, regional, and international efforts in climate adaptation and mitigation. Prepare graduates for professional and research roles in environmental, maritime, coastal, and climate-related sectors.

Learning Outcomes

• Graduates of the program are expected to be able to: Explain scientific and management dimensions of climate change. Apply environmental risk assessment and management approaches. Use GIS, remote sensing, and modelling tools in climate and environmental studies. Analyze climate-related impacts on marine, coastal, and environmental systems. Design applied research in climate-change and environmental-management fields. Support evidence-based adaptation, mitigation, and sustainability planning.
