Opening of the Activities of the Training and Organizational Development Forum TOD24

On Tuesday morning, December 17, 2024, at the Tolip Hotel in Alexandria ,in line with the directives of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abd El Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, emphasizing the importance of training and institutional development, Prof. Alaa Abd ElBary, Vice President of the Academy for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, inaugurated the activities of the Training and Organizational Development Forum on behalf of Prof. Dr. Ismail Abd El Ghaffar. The event was also attended by Professor. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, Dean of Port Training Institute and Maritime Research and Consultation Center for the Maritime Transport Sector,

 

The forum, titled "Towards Innovative Strategies for Building Capacity in Business Environment," was organized in collaboration with Med Port association, Port of Valencia Foundation in Spain, Escola Europea of Intermodal Transport in Italy, the Maritime Trainer Institute, and Simulation Center in Turkey.

The event was attended by Prof. Ghada El-Kott, Assistant to the President of the Academy for Strategic Affairs, and Eng. Hossam Asaad, Chairman and Managing Director of the Egyptian Company for Project Operation and Maintenance (EPROM), along with a distinguished group of HR and training managers from port authorities, container companies, shipping companies, and representatives from the maritime transport and petroleum sectors in Egypt and the Arab world.

The forum brought together a select group of specialists and leaders in human resources management to discuss the latest trends in training and human resource development that shape the future of the business environment. It also provided a platform for exchanging expertise and knowledge in capacity building and institutional development to create flexible organizational structures aimed at promoting sustainable institutional growth.

This year, the forum aimed to highlight the importance of adopting flexible strategies in capacity building and development. It focused on creating and implementing innovative strategies to enhance the capabilities of organizations in addressing the challenges posed by the evolving business environment, driven by digital transformation, labor market changes, and global disruptions.Visit of a Delegation from Trans Misr Terminal to Port Training Institute.
