The Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Arab sea ports Federation No. 61

In the spirit of Arab cooperation, a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Arab sea ports Federation No. 61 and the General Assembly No. 31 of the Federation was held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, on the sidelines of the World Ports Conference of the International Associations of Ports and Harbors “IAPH”- Abu Dhabi 2023.

Prof. Alaa Mahmoud Morsy, Dean of Port Training Institute, PTI, attended the meeting on behalf of His Excellency Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, AASTMT. The meeting was also attended by Captain Mohammed Jumaa Al Shamsi, President of the Arab Sea Ports Federation, Major General, Essam Badawi, Secretary-General of the Arab Sea Ports Federation, as well as several heads of Egyptian and Arab ports and representatives of maritime authorities and Arab ports. Prof. Alaa Morsy presented a presentation titled " Innovation for a Sustainable Future: Turning Arab Ports into a Hub of Innovation," and the outputs of the Arab Sea Ports Federation's Human Resources Development Committee, one of the most important committees of the federation, were discussed.

This is part of the role of Port Training Institute in promoting Arab cooperation in the maritime field, coordinating and collaborating among Arab ports, and unifying visions to enhance Arab ports.
