The Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest (ECPC) is Egypt’s premier programming competition for university students and the official national qualifying contest for the Africa & Arab Collegiate Programming Championship (ACPC).
Organized by the Regional Informatics Center (RIC) at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT), ECPC provides university students with a competitive environment to develop advanced algorithmic thinking, teamwork, and software engineering skills while preparing them for regional and international programming championships.
Today, ECPC stands as Egypt’s largest and most prestigious university programming competition, attracting thousands of students from universities across the country each year.
The competition follows the official ICPC rules, where teams of three students work together to solve complex algorithmic programming problems within a limited time.
The highest-ranking teams qualify to represent Egypt at the Africa & Arab Collegiate Programming Championship (ACPC), with the opportunity to advance to the ICPC World Finals.
