The Regional Informatics Center (RIC) is a leading center of excellence at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT). Established in 2001 in Alexandria, Egypt, RIC was founded to advance robotics, artificial intelligence, programming, competitive computing, and STEM education while fostering innovation, creativity, and technical excellence.
For more than two decades, RIC has empowered thousands of students through hands-on learning, specialized training programs, national and international competitions, research initiatives, and industry collaboration. By combining academic excellence with practical experience, RIC prepares future engineers, programmers, researchers, and innovators to succeed in an ever-evolving technological world.
