Overview

The EAMS approved training programs for our training, engineer officers is job specific and allow cadets to build professionalism, earning potential and capability to progress quickly in their careers.

 

STCW 78 as amended (2010 ''Manila Amendments'')

The STCW Convention 1978 has been amended by the 2010 Manila Amendments and contains new training requirements.

All of our courses are STCW 2010 compliant.

Engine courses (guided training)

5th term courses

1-      Leadership V - LT305

This course aims at getting the cadet acquainted with the general rules of the art of leadership to enable the smooth and efficient running of work on commercial ships.

 

2-      Marine Control System - EE 310 CDF EE 310.pdf

According to STCW 78 as amendment (Table A-III/1) and IMO model course 7.04.

 

3-      Marine Electrical Engineering - EE320 CDF EE 320.pdf

Throughout this course, Cadets will gain practical implementation and experience for operation and maintenance of different electrical machines and electronic circuits on board the ship according to STCW 78 as amended and IMO model course 7.04.

 

4-      Marine Engineering II - MM 312 CDF - MM 312.pdf

Throughout this course, cadets will gain practical knowledge and experience for operation and maintenance of deferent machines and systems in the engine room.

5-      Watch Keeping Duties - MM313  CDF MM 313.pdf

6-      Marine Diesel Engines (2) - MM322  CDF MM 322.pdf 

According to STCW 78 as amended and IMO model course 7.04.

 

7-      Naval Architecture & Ship Construction II - MM342  CDF MM 342.pdf 

According to STCW 78 as amended (Table A-III/1) and IMO model course 7.04 .

The student should know the importance of studying ship construction and the usage of these knowledge for example: writing damage reports with structure elements also for writing structure repairs job list for dry docking.

 

8-      Marine Safety - ND 370 CDF ND 370.pdf 

According to STCW 78 as amended (Table A-III/1) and IMO model course 1.19 &1.20

Throughout this course cadets gain practical knowledge and experience for safety aboard ships and the observation and use of safe working practices at all times either ship is in port or at sea.
