Welcome to the home page of the nautical guided sea training department. We conduct a wide variety of courses in the following areas:

Courses to comply with STCW certification requirements for personnel serving aboard merchant ships, including the amendments required by the 2010 Manila conference.

Continuing professional development for deck cadets to the highest standards. Whole paths are held on-board M/V Aida IV and/or NAMA ships.Our staff are all specialists in their subject areas and we take in a national and regional reputation for the caliber and professionalism of our training provision and in our ability to meet our customers’ training needs.

Our training extends to the following areas safety, firefighting, first aid and medical care, radio communications, ship handling, training in the application of navigation techniques, navigational instruments such as radar and ECDIS.My staff and I look forward to welcoming you on board Aida IV and/or NAMA ships.Capt.   • The EAMS approved training programs for our training, deck officers are job specific and allow cadets to build professionalism, earning potential and capability to progress quickly in their careers.
  • STCW 78 as amended (2010 'Manila Amendments').
  • The STCW Convention 1978 has been amended by the 2010 Manila Amendments and contains new training demands.
  • Whole of our courses are STCW 2010 compliant.
